It is probably the best Aguardente Vínica produced by Barcos Wines, in its long tradition of producing award-winning brandies sold to various countries around the world. It is a limited edition of 665 units, sold in a noble wooden case, which includes a 700 mL bottle, a personalized stopper and a Stölzle flask so that you can enjoy it to the full, giving each copy a unique value! This product is obtained by the careful distillation of Vinho Verde, which produces an aromatic and elegant distillate that is aged for decades in French oak casks. This brandy is the result of the selection of the best casks, aged for 20, 30 and 40 years. It has an intense topaz color. The aroma is complex and deep, where spices and candied orange stand out, with caramelized nuances. It reaches its maximum splendor on the palate... where its alcoholic power is smooth, thanks to the slow integration of the wood notes into the original alcohol over the years. Ageing in oak casks has given it nobility and allure. In order to enjoy this Aguardente Velha XO in the best conditions, it should be slightly chilled (never heat the product or the glass, as this would only overlap the alcoholic notes with those of ageing). Pairing: The intense combination of aromas and flavors makes this Aguardente Vínica XO an icon for a good home-brewed coffee or to accompany the intense pleasure of desserts with notes of pure cocoa, dark chocolate or cinnamon.
